Apparently I only have time to blog when I am covering reception during lunch.

I have a cold. I woke up with it on Monday. It hasn't yet developed into the full-blown "head in a vice, dragging around with the kleenex box attached to my hip, whimpering like a 4-year-old" cold that I usually get, and hopefully I will be able to keep it at bay for another 5 days or so. We're driving down to Disneyland tomorrow, and I do not want to feel crappy in the happiest place on earth. How ironic would that be?! I have been chugging the OJ and popping the echinacea, so keep your fingers crossed.

Why is it that I am always swamped the day before a day I am not going to be here? I have barely had time to download music for goodness' sake!

And to top it all off, for the first time in my taxable life, I owe the government money! $156 non-returnable dollars! Oh, what a world....
