McGross

I went to see Super Size Me last night. I was worried it was going to make me gag, but there were only 2 parts that were gross and forced me to look away. It was a very interesting movie - not only for the specific experiment of eating nothing but McDonald's food for 30 days, but also because the director investigated other sources of American obesity, such as the cafeteria food in public schools. Of course, it made me feel gross about all the fast food and junk food I eat, and I will probably try harder for a little while to eat better, but I don't know how long it'll last. I should pretend it's Lent and abstain for fast food for 30 days....

I was in a good mood last night until I went into the bathroom and saw one of those bugs on my fucking toilet seat. I felt sick to my stomach for the rest of the night, and I still do. I don't know how much longer I can last....

And to top it all off
My coworker just announced her 2 week notice, so that leaves me as the only assistant/coordinator in the department. I won't be surprised if they don't hire anyone to replace her because the company is so broke. A few people know that I am "looking into" moving down south, so they shouldn't be surprised if and when I give my notice, but nevertheless, the guilt is overwhelming.
