Turkey Feed

We went to our friend's annual turkey dinner/trivia night last weekend. I am so ashamed: the women lost! Again! Dammit!

Thanksgiving weekend was nice and lazy. But also a little not quite right. We came home on Thursday around 7:30 and then wondered "what do we do now?" which to me felt very surreal. Friday was better: a nice brunch (more like lunch) with the family and then we went to a volleyball game that night. Today has been lazy. We watched Best in Show and A Mighty Wind, in preparation for seeing For Your Consideration. Lots of hanging out on the couch, leading to my usual existential angst brought on by inactvity. Tomorrow I will be going to work for a couple of hours, maybe catch a movie, and (I swear) get some chores done.

I've also spent quite a bit of time bawling my eyes out watching My Life without Me, Mona Lisa Smile, and Love Actually. And now I have the song "God Only Knows What I'll Be without You" in my head.
