A long way to go and a short time to get there

On Saturday, I tagged along with some friends for a "quick" day trip to Reno. In fact, it was one looong day (we left home at 7:30 am and returned at 12:30 am), punctuated by several pit stops and lots of beer. Everyone knows how much I love the mini road trip. This one was especially fun because I didn't have to do any driving, and could just sit back, enjoy the shit talking, and have beers bought for me.
Worth remembering:
Two cabin stops in Truckee
Bully's for lunch - the only stop we made in Reno
Cedars Lounge in Verdi - they had Red Stripe (yay!), and the bartendress called me out for it. I think we spent a good 3 hours there. What was with the gregarious lady who wouldn't leave Rusty alone?!
Hooters - not a seat to be had, so we drank a pitcher standing up
Thompson's Corner Saloon in Fairfield - bars on the ceiling! My wiles didn't work on the bartender! It's a good thing I wasn't wearing a bra.
