June sneaks up on you and then smacks you in the ass

Seriously, it was a long, unpredictable spring, with some nice sunny days but what seemed to be even more cold, windy, and rainy days. And then wham! All of a sudden, you look at the calendar, realize it's already June, start freaking out about the year being half way over, but quickly get sidetracked by the sweat-inducing heat. June.

I know what I did in March -- 2 weeks in Europe, during the prolonged winter. Boy did I drink a lot. I will -- eventually -- post a real report.
